We have now entered our tenth week staying at Sundance Camp near Kemer having arrived on the 21st of March and are in the middle of a four day curfew, essentially a lockdown on steroids so not allowed leave the campsite let alone head for Durham. Our ninth week at Sundance has brought something new, heat lots and lots of heat, seemingly the hottest May days in 75 years. As I write in the shade of the bar area drinking ‘Cay’ odd that a hot drink can cool you down, it is 38 degrees in the shade. We are now in our eighth week here at Sundance Camp and as Turkey is starting to lift some of the Coronavirus restrictions. Local people are now starting to come and stay on the site, and as the restrictions continue to lift the site will fill up.
