We have spent the past few days in the mountains exploring and cycling the area and touring the Pueblos Blancos, (White Villages) Though we are less than 50 miles from Marbella, it seems were a million miles from the costas. The scenery and the places we visit are remote and truly beautiful. The prices and food are wonderful. In our lovely van we can get to these places … [Read more...] about Via Verde de la Sierra and Pueblos Blancos. Motorhome Bliss.

Déjà vu
The route this week. As we now head south again after our circle with the journey coming to a close we are now mainly on re-visits. Therefore the question is “Is the 2nd cup of tea or gin & tonic ever as good as the first” Mon 07/11/16: After a very cold night with the water bottle back in operation we got the bikes down and made the 14k ride into Cabra. Chocolate for Breakfast
Mon 31/10/16: After a few Happy birthday greetings to those Halloween birthday witches and wizards we settled down to a lovely pancetta sandwich for breakfast- the pancetta being part of our F&S leaving food parcel and I have to say very nice it was too. Poo-Gate
Thurs 13/10/16: Valderrobres. Our overnight Aire stop after our cava tasting tour. Valderrobres is another Bonito village and the Aire is on the river just outside the walled town so a lovely spot. Parts of the town were bonito and others really needed some money and restoration done on them, but like so many places in Spain there is only so much money, time etc to go around. … [Read more...] about Poo-Gate
Great Hosts
We have spent a great few weeks in fact a month in the area around and including Barcelona. During that time we have met up with great friends of old from home and have made great friends of new as well on our travels. We have also been fortunate to have some great cava tastings as well that dispel all thoughts of cava as being a cheap champagne option. It's not here at all … [Read more...] about Great Hosts
