I ‘KID’ you not
Sun 17/04/16: Albarracin and another Spanish Bonita town and it is. Different again to the white pueblos and also to Morella where we just left which was hilltop and standing proud repelling all borders. Albarracin is tucked into the hillside with a steep incline still. It is very much a hobbly goblin village with small paths, tiny doors and turns and you expect elf’s and such … [Read more...] about I ‘KID’ you not
NiKi Is now also a Camion De Bomberos ( A fire engine) for non Spanish people.
So your intrepid Grey Gappers have had a fascinating 48 hours, we fled the mountains a couple of weeks ago due to the cold and snow and despite one short visit, we stayed on the coast and explored there. But the mountains called us back, and so we headed back inland to the stunning town of Morella, we had been told it was wonderful and even better there is a free … [Read more...] about NiKi Is now also a Camion De Bomberos ( A fire engine) for non Spanish people.
Cheese Gromit!!
Sun 10/04/16: Back on the coast and after one night in a fairly industrial camping site in Benicasim we moved on about 15k’s up the road to Oropesa del Mar and a much smaller site on the sea front. Oddly having said about camp sites and how wonderful they are in my ‘3 months on’ blog I failed to mention that … [Read more...] about Cheese Gromit!!

However, when we asked the very helpful girl at the camp reception how to get to the beach, could we cycle all the way there or perhaps into main Valencia and then along the city cycle routes. I’m not entirely sure … [Read more...] about Working Girl Oranges

Pregnant Peppers
Sun 27/3/16: Easter Sunday and we decide that we have seen all that we might in Toledo and decide to head eastwards to Cuenca. We actually first thought it was only some 60/70k’s when looking at the road map (really should try and learn how to read them properly) but when we were on the road and programmed Snoopy it came up with some 160k’s which it was. Cuenca is a World … [Read more...] about Pregnant Peppers
Why Spain and why in a Motorhome?
A question we have been asked many times is why we chose Spain and why in a Motorhome? Well to be honest it just seemed like a good idea at the time, we had seen Rick Stein’s Spanish cookery tour and realised we really like Spanish food, we also wanted to experience one country, see it, taste it, live it. So Spain it was. So why in a motorhome? Just over ten years ago we … [Read more...] about Why Spain and why in a Motorhome?
