Is the question often debated late on a Saturday night after a few glasses of vino. Well it makes a change from religion or football and is a very important question in this tuna producing region of Spain-Andalusia. Sat 23/1/16: After taking NiKi out on the road again after week on site we headed back down from another pueblo blanco -Arcos de la Fronteria and after the usual … [Read more...] about Atun or No El Atun

On the road the practicalities.
So after years of planning this motorhome adventure we are now on the road, with only 1 month’s lifetime motorhoming experience and that was over 10 years ago, this is a whole new ball game. We are lucky enough to be in a new Elddis Encore 254, which has a fixed bed which has proved marvellous, the motorhome is very well finished and drives like a dream. That said going away in … [Read more...] about On the road the practicalities.
Another Tapa Por Favor
Another Tapa Por Favor Mon 18/1/16: First day at Spanish school so a bit nerve racking really. Neither of us has paid much attention as of late on the learning front. School started with us fortunately being 2 2 1 i.e David and I with our teacher, a result of us but not necessarily so for her. Although how could be a treat when you are stuck on ferry and the options are a proper French restaurant (the boat is French) and a café style eatery. Of course we chose the … [Read more...] about The Food Story Begins
Spain and ………………………………………….Rain!
After a few more sad and tearful farewells (mainly on Karen’s part) plus our last UK Indian we headed off to Portsmouth and the 24 hour crossing to Santander stopping en route to weigh Niki and also to say goodbye to Dot or Dorothy as she so liked to be called (Karen’s Mum, in a very bleak cemetery, but with Big Grandad and Big Nanny as we called them, Dots Mum and Dad and also … [Read more...] about Spain and ………………………………………….Rain!
